House Speaker Brent Siegrist has been reprimanded by the Iowa Ethnics Board for failing to turn in his campaign finance reports on time.Siegrist, who is a Republican from Council Bluffs, says it was his fault for note being more organized. He says he’s hired a C-P-A to be his campaign treasurer, and purchased computer software so his campaign documents can be turned in electronically.The Iowa Ethics Board collects campaign documents which chronicle how much money legislators raise — and where and how the money’s spent.
