The Iowa Commission on Substance Abuse will review the Native American Alcohol Treatment Program in Sergeant Bluff at its meeting Wednesday. Department of Public Health spokesman Kevin Teale says a problem came up during a routine review as one area of the program did not meet state standards. Teale says they will look at ways to fix the problem.Teale says the program could face penalties and even be closed if a solution isn’t worked out that satisfies state standards.
