Ottumwa man victim of slaying

State officials have attached a name to the body found in a burned-out car Monday in southeast Iowa near Eldon, but many other questions remain. The body is identified as 53-year-old Larry Pippenger of Ottumwa. Wapello County authorities say he WAS the victim of a slaying..but aren’t saying much more. No arrests have been made. Pippenger was wheelchair-bound.
