Potential stars get their chance today

If you’ve always wanted to be in pictures, a Des Moines-based entertainment production and casting company is holding general auditions this afternoon. The auditions are not for any particular movie or play.Kimberly Busbee is co-owner of The Talent Source and Mad Genie Productions. She says these general auditions are done just to see what potential actors and actresses may be available for the next production on stage or film or for commercials or industrial videos.Busbee says those who are auditioning can range in age from five to 105 and they can present a two-minute monologue.Appointments may still be scheduled this morning for the auditions which run from 1 to 6 p-m.
