Morningside gets ready for conference tournament

Morningside opens the North Central Conference baseball tournament Thursday in Fargo when the Mustangs play regular season champion North Dakota State. Morningside coach Jim Scholten says his team has a lot of confidence heading into the tournament. He says they always set their schedule to face enough tough teams to get into the tourney.Scholten believes the tournament is anybody’s to win. He says whoever gets hot and hits the ball best can come out the winner.
