A carjacker led police on a high-speed chase through Omaha and into Iowa this morning. Omaha police spokesman Randy Eddy says the man stole a truck at knife point around 10 this morning. Eddy says the chase headed up Interstate 29 at speeds reaching 90 miles-an-hour. He says Missouri Valley police were able to puncture two tires on the vehicle with “stop sticks” and force it off the road. The man kept going for several miles even after two tires blew out and disintegrated. The suspect is said to be in his 20’s. His name has not been released.
