Iowa’s democrat Governor says the Republican party’s likely presidential nominee isn’t following through on his promise to keep Iowa’s Caucuses number one. A Republican panel on Friday endorsed the so-called Delaware plan which calls for a system of rotating, regional primaries — and it does not allow Iowa to hold the nation’s first caucuses. Vilsack is urging republicans go call George W. Bush to urge him to push for Iowa’s lead position in the presidential selection process.Vilsack attended the democratic committee meeting in which democrats voted to retain the current system of nominating a president.
