Gasoline prices are on the rebound in Iowa, according to the latest statewide survey from the Department of Natural Resources. Energy Data Analyst Ward Lenz says the statewide average is now a dollar-43. That’s eight cents higher than last month but seven cents lower than the previous month. Lenz says there shouldn’t be much fluctuation over the next few weeks. As summer approaches, Lenz predicts more ups and downs in the price of gas, with lows around a dollar-20 and highs near a dollar-50. While the average price for a gallon of gas in Iowa is at a dollar-43, the national average is nearly a dime higher at a dollar-52.
