A federal project designed to improve the quality and quantity of water in northwest Iowa has passed the U-S House. Congressman Tom Latham says the Lewis and Clark Rural Water Project bill had other projects added to it and will now move more slowly through Congress.The project would target improved water service in 14 counties along the borders of Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota. Iowa towns involved would include: Boyden, Hull, Sheldon, Sibley and Sioux Center.
