All five of Iowa’s congressmen voted in favor of a bill that passed the U-S House today that would repeal the nation’s gift and estate taxes. Second district Republican Jim Nussle says the vote was long overdue.Nussle says farmers and livestock producers will benefit most.Iowa Congressman Leonard Boswell was one of sixty-five Democrats who joined Republicans to pass the bill which phases out the taxes over ten years.
