A Cedar Rapids man is in custody today after eluding authorities in eastern Iowa most of Wednesday. 27-year old Jason Blackcloud fled authorities in Waterloo after being stopped. Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Deputy Tony Thompson says Blackcloud stole a truck from a farm in northern Black Hawk County before fleeing to Linn County. Thompson says Blackcloud was caught late Wednesday after a chase in Cedar Rapids and now faces several charges.There were indications that Blackcloud may’ve been armed during his chase with police, but police would not confirm that he was.
