An Independence man escaped injury when his ultra-light plane crashed Monday.37-year old Mark Little’s plane went down in a cornfield near the northeast Iowa city. Little was able to walk away from the crash. He was taken to the Independence Hospital and then transferred to Waterloo were he’s reported in stable condition.
