A Davenport police officer has been fired following an eight-month internal investigation.The investigation found that 45-year old Sergeant Greg Collins pocketed money and used property seized from drug raids for his own benefit. Collins had been on the force for 22 years and will receive his full pension when he turns 55. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is also looking into the case and is expected to file a report sometime soon.
