Played on the White House lawn, it often included members of the Supreme Court.Hand says the weekend Hooverfest also includes a variety of educational and entertaining events. There’s the Presidential 5-K Run, dramatic and musical productions, a concert and fireworks tonight, and plenty of family activities.Herbert Hoover was born August 10, 1874 in the tiny eastern Iowa town, just east of Iowa City on Interstate 80.
