It took her two months to realize it, but an eastern Iowa woman is suddenly rich. 37-year-old Marilyn Bettmeng of Cedar Rapids was carrying around what she thought was a losing Powerball ticket in her purse since June. She had it checked by a store clerk and learned she matched all five numbers, but not the Powerball, to win 100-thousand dollars. She plans to buy a new house.
