A third historic building is being demolished at Maharishi (mah-harsh’-ee) University in Fairfield. The 97-year-old building which had been known as Fairfield Hall is being torn down, even though it’s on the National List of Historic Places. School officials say the building is energy inefficient and since it doesn’t face east, gives off negative energy. Two other historic buildings have been flattened at the campus in recent months.
