Morningside opens North Central Conference play at Northern Colorado on Saturday. The Mustangs opened with a loss at U-N-I before posting a 65-3 victory over Minnesota-Morris last weekend. Morningside coach Dave Elliott feels the two games have prepared them for the league race.Elliott says his team feels confident heading into the conference opener.Elliott says the Mustang defense will need to slow down a high-powered Northern Colorado offense.
