The top ranked teams remain the same in the latest Radio Iowa high school football poll.In fact in the six classes there were only a total of seven news teams in this week’s survey. Iowa City High remains top ranked in 4-A, Cedar Falls is second. West Des Moines Dowling, West Des Moines Valley and Bettendorf complete the top five. In 3-A, Harlan remains top ranked, Denison-Schleswig is second, Clear Lake is third and Grinnell fourth. Waverly Shell Rock debuts at number five. Solon leads in 2-A, West Hancock is second. Emmetsburg, Carlisle and Mount Vernon complete the top five. West Lyon is top ranked in 1-A, Algona Garrigan is second followed by Aplington-Parkersburg, Southern Cal and Council Bluffs St. Albert. West Bend Mallard is top ranked in class A; Lynnville Sully is second then its Lisbon, Manning and Clarksville. The top five remain the same in eight-man. Elk Horn Kimballton is top ranked Murray is second, Adair-Casey Aurelia and Sioux Central complete the top five.
