The Northern Iowa Panthers return home to face 10th ranked Stephen F. Austin this weekend, hoping to rebound from a disappointing loss in their Gateway Conference opener. The Panthers fell 34-14 to a Southern Illinois team who entered the game winless on the season.U-N-I coach Mike Dunbar says his team did not bounce back from a bad start. He says they couldn’t stop the Salukis on third down and that made it tough to come back.Dunbar says lack of execution was the major reason for the loss. He says they were not dominated physically.
