A woman charged with stabbing the Decorah police chief three years ago is facing new charges for a stabbing and fire. 37-year old Shayne Eggen is accused of stabbing a man with a knife and then setting a quilt on fire in his apartment. The apartment was destroyed, the man was treated and released. Eggen was found guilty of stabbing the Decorah police chief in 1997.
