Coming off their first Big Ten victory in nearly two years, the Iowa Hawkeyes get set to visit Illinois on Saturday. Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says the only negative from Saturday came after the game when senior linebacker Derek Davison was involved in an incident in an Iowa City bar. Ferentz says it’s a negative against the program and Davison is very regretful. Ferentz says there will be significant discipline, but he isn’t going to say what that discipline will be.Ferentz says it was nice to see the players get rewarded with the win.Ferentz says just like a loss, they have to put the win behind them and move on to the next game. Ferentz says the players have learned how difficult it is to win. He says that’s one thing the players needed to learn in turning around the losing streak. He says if the second win comes as hard as the first one, then they’re in trouble.
