Police identify body as missing Waterloo woman

Black Hawk County authorities now say a body found Wednesday is that of a missing Waterloo woman. Waterloo police says dental records allowed them to determine the body was that of Tracy Ann Carson of Waterloo. Carson was last seen at her 40th birthday party in October. The body was found near a creek near Dunkerton on Wednesday afternoon. Some of Carson’s personal belongings were found in a ditch last fall just a few miles from where the body was found Wednesday. Police says tests are being conducted on the body and they aren’t saying if the death may be a homicide.
