Sioux City police are warning residents and local banks to be on the lookout for a suspected bank robber that escaped a South Dakota jail. Sioux City police captain Pete Groetkin says 48-year old Anthony Flowers escaped from the Minnehaha County Jail in Sioux Falls yesterday.He says Flowers kidnapped a woman and forced her to drive him to Sioux City before letting her go. Groetkin says it’s possible Flowers is still in Sioux City. He says anyone with information on Flowers should call police as Flowers should be considered “armed and dangerous.” Groetkin says Flowers was allegedly involved in a bank robbery in Sioux City last August, so they’re letting banks know he is on the loose.Groetkin says Flowers is a Native American with shoulder length black hair, five-foot-eight inches tall and about 170 pounds.
