Authorities in southeast Iowa are unveiling details from this week’s search of methamphetamine maker’s lair following the pollution of Chipped Creek. Hydrogen chloride, gas generators, lithium batteries and ether cans were found buried in the banks of the creek when police searched the home of a suspect near Agency in Wapello County. Drain opener was also apparently dumped in the creek which poses environmental concerns according to an official at the Iowa D-N-R. The suspect’s name hasn’t been released and charges have not yet been filed.
