A 39-year-old Cedar Falls man is charged with lascivious acts with a child after trying to get a young girl to have sex with him. Earl Hankins allegedly attempted to get an eight-year-old girl to perform a sex act. The girl was apparently an acquaintance of Hankins. He’s being held in the Black Hawk County Jail on a five-thousand-dollar bond.
