There is a new top ranked team in the latest Radio Iowa/Coaches Association high school baseball poll.Following a split with class 4A top ranked Iowa City high and a sweep of 4A eighth ranked Dubuque Hempstead, cedar Rapids Xavier is the new top ranked team in class 3A. Unbeaten Decorah debuts at second. Sioux City Heelan, Atlantic and Fort Madison complete the top five. The other top ranked teams remain the same. Iowa City High is top ranked in 4A, West Des Moines Dowling is second, Indianola third. Sioux City West and Dubuque Wahlert complete the top five. West Branch is top rated in 2A. Dyersville Beckman is second. Carlisle is third, Cascade fourth and Hampton-Dumont climbs four spots to fifth. Granville-Spalding remains top ranked in class 1A, Mason City Newman is second then its Lynnville-Sully, Lansing Kee and North Tama.
