A couple from northern Iowa died, and a woman and her baby were injured in a Sunday afternoon traffic accident east of Sanborn. Twenty-eight-year-old Tanya Brown of Hawarden was going west on Highway 18 when she crossed the centerline and collided with a vehicle driven by 45-year-old Gail Bailey of Rowen.
