Twisters, hail and high water plagued parts of northwest Iowa overnight. Tornadoes were spotted in Dickinson, Sioux, O’Brien and Osceola counties. Hail and winds exceeding 50-miles an hour damaged trees, homes and power lines. Some hail was as large as baseballs. Two people were injured by hail in the Okoboji area and 47 people were evacuated from the town of George in Lyon County due to flooding. Crop damage is also reported.
