More severe storms and twisters were spawned over northwestern Iowa lastnight, for the second night in a row. Several tornadoes were spotted nearSheldon, Melvin, Lake Park, Sutherland and Quimby between 8:30 and 10:30last night. Spencer reports 88-mile an hour wind gusts. There’s scattereddamage to farm buildings and homes, trees and power lines are downed but noinjuries are reported. Ag officials say damage from Tuesday night’s stormsdestroyed over 200-thousand acres of crops in Dickinson and Emmet counties.
