A southwestern Iowa teenager is charged with vehicular homicide in the death of a Red Oak city worker. Police say 51-year-old John Eggert of Red Oak was killed Wednesday afternoon when he was hit by a car driven by 17-year-old Christopher Long of Red Oak. Eggert was a long-time city street department worker and was on the job when he was hit. Long was taken to a juvenile detention center in Council Bluffs.
