Junior High and High School athletes are increasingly using the summer to improve their skills by attending camps. Central College softball coach George Wares will be holding two camps this summer in Pella. The first camp is for players in grades six through nine and has already sold out. The other is for players in grades 10 through 12.Wares says his camp like others will provide specialized instruction based on a players position and will include a number of pitching coaches.Wares says the pitching coaches will instruct parents on the best way to help their prospective hurlers. He says there are a lot of moms and dads that want to work with their kids and this helps them know what to work on.
