An eastern Iowa music festival over the weekend endured some sour notes. The Mississippi Valley Blues Fest in Davenport had to be moved from its usual riverfront location due to the recent flooding. There was high humidity and scorching heat on Saturday while the fest was hampered on Sunday by lightning, high winds and driving rain. One person was reported hurt in those Eastern Iowa storms.20-year-old Brandon Latiolais of Fairfax was hit by lightning while he worked at a greenhouse. He’s in stable condition at a Cedar Rapids hospital.
