Drake lands basketball recruit

His senior season is coming up but Garner-Hayfield basketball standout Shaun Wumkes has already made his college choice. The 6-10 center announced today that will be play college basketball at Drake.Wumkes says Drake was the first school to actively recruit him.Wumkes says he has been watching the progress of the program the past couple of years and feels they’re on the right track for a turnaround.Wumkes has averaged 12-points and nine rebounds per game in his first two seasons as a starter at Garner-Hayfield.
