One of the biggest agricultural suppliers in southwest Iowa is taking the first steps to merge with another farm co-op and an Omaha processor. Crestline Co-operative has annual sales of 147-million dollars. It’s signed a letter of intent to merge with West-Central Co-op in Ralston, Iowa, another farmer-owned coop that sells 50-million bushels of soybeans a year. The third partner, A-G-P of Omaha, is owned by 260 cooperatives representing 300-thousand farmers.
