A tragic end to the search for a missing Cresco woman and child. First-degree murder charges have been filed against 24-year-old Clay Thomas of Atcheson, Kansas, after authorities announced Thursday afternoon the bodies of Angela Hyke of Cresco and her eight-year-old daughter Ashley Lucas were found. The bodies were discovered in Kansas and an arrest warrant was issued. Thomas was arrested and is being held on a million dollars bond. Kansas authorities say he’ll be extradited to Iowa soon.
