A Davenport man has been censured by local democrats for what came out of his “yap” during a stint on a Quad Cities radio talk show. The Davenport Democratic Party has expelled and censured Bob Yapp for making disparaging comments about Davenport Alderwoman Roxanna Moritz. While sitting in as host of a talk show on W-O-C radio, Yapp was discussing how conflicts of interest might affect city efforts to regulate adult businesses. Without mentioning Moritz by name, democrats say he referred to Moritz as a former nude dancer. Yapp says his comments were not directed at any one person and the local democrats are trying to violate his rights to free speech.
