The Iowa Utilities Board is reminding Iowans of a change in the way long-distance phone companies provide information to customers. Board spokesman Rob Hillesland says the F-C-C is requiring phone companies to tell customers directly the terms of their agreements.Hillesland says the F-C-C is now leaving it up to you to check out the phone agreements. He says you should carefully read the information the long-distance companies provide.Hillesland says if you stay with a long-distance company, that is considered an acceptance of their agreement.
