A 74-year-old eastern Iowa man has died from injuries he received in a boat accident earlier this month. Bert Bern of Amana sustained several injuries when a speedboat broadsided his fishing boat on Coralville Lake August 12th. Bern died at University Hospitals in Iowa City on Sunday. The Department of Natural Resources is still investigating the accident.
