The final in a series of meetings was held this week to discuss proposals for making Clear Lake clear again. Department of Natural Resources Fish and Wildlife Administrator Al Ferris says no matter what kind of plan is set forth by restoration organizers, people are going to have to make some sacrifices. He says adapting the plan to meet individual concerns will kill the project.Ferris says the project will have to reduce the phosphorus and silt runoff into the lake.The price tag for the lake restoration project is tabbed at nearly $16 (m) million.
