A manhunt in Sioux City has ended with the arrest of a suspect in the deaths of seven people found murdered yesterday. The bodies of 31-year-old Leticia Aguilar and her five children were found around 6 o’clock last night. The body of 58-year-old Ronald Fish was found in the entryway to his home a half-hour earlier. The children ranged in age from five to 12. Police Chief Joe Frisbie spoke with the media shortly after 23-year-old Adam Moss was taken into custody at around 11:30 a-m. Chief Frisbie says they found Moss after a stakeout. Frisbie says it was an intense search as they had several areas under surveillance. Chief Frisbie says they’re interviewing Moss to try and learn more, and have collected a lot of physical evidence.Frisbie says Moss was a boyfriend of Aguilar. Frisbie says even though the suspect has been arrested the department needs to be careful in releasing other details.Frisbie says Moss will be charged with seven counts of murder.Formal charges will be filed by the county attorney next week. On the advice of the county attorney, Frisbie says he cannot release any more details about the crime scene. He could also not say what may have led to the mass killing.Frisbie says more details will come out when the formal charges are filed in court. Frisbie says the murder scene was grisly and they tried to limit the number of officers who saw the scene. He does confirm that a murder weapon has been found.Frisbie says the arrest is a relief to Sioux City which he says has been gripped by fear since the bodies were found yesterday.Frisbie did say that Moss had known Fish since 1995 after meeting him at the place where they worked.
