Lance Irvin is the newest member of Larry Eustachy’s basketball staff at Iowa State but is no stranger to the head coach. Irvin played for Eustachy at Idaho back in 1990 and has also served as an assistant coach for Joe Meyer at DePaul and Larry Farmer at Loyola of Chicago. He says he needs to learn some more stuff.Irvin it is important as a young coach he become familiar with all the different aspects.Irvin says it was an attractive opportunity in part because of the number of former Eustachy assistants that have become head coaches.
