Today marks the end of the summer driving season, but a spokesman for the Iowa State Patrol says things will still be busy on the roadways.Sergeant Robert Hansen says traffic levels do spike up some during holidays, but he says there’s been a steady increase in traffic that lasts throughout the year. He says the change in seasons can lead to fewer problems on the roadways.With cooler fall temperatures, fewer cars seem to break down. But, Hansen says a new set of problems will soon be facing Iowa drivers.Colder temperatures lead to vehicles breaking down too.
