A central Iowa cookie factory is closing for good.Today’s the last day of operations at the Archway Cookies plant in Boone.One-hundred-nine people are out of work. About two dozen area workers will stay on the job at Archway’s distribution facility in Boone. Archway was founded in Boone in the 1960s.
