The terrorist attacks today have stalled air traffic across the nation. Des Moines International Airport spokesman Michael Audino says all flights out of the airport are cancelled, and six commercial planes enroute to other cities were diverted to Des Moines.

Audino’s asking everyone to stay away from the airport. He says you should try to call your airline for flight information. Audino says they’re taking steps to keep the airport safe. Audino says employees and passengers have handled the situation well.

Audino says many passengers are being bused to their locations.
