The continuing FAA ban on some kinds of flight will cancel Creston’s Balloon Days for this year. Already postponed from last weekend, the event is now off, according to Ellen Gerharz of the Creston Chamber of Commerce.People are upset and the committee decided to cancel since there’s still no word on when they may fly again. Gerharz says though there are lots of events besides the balloon flights, organizers decided to call the whole thing off.Gerharz says next year’s Balloon Days will be bigger.
