A southeast Iowa man is dead after a two-car accident just before sundown last night in Keokuk County.42-year-old Rodney Hawk of Centerville was killed and 53-year-old Kenneth Brickney of Missouri was hurt in the wreck on Highway 78. State troopers say Hawk’s car was stopped in a construction zone waiting on a pilot car when Brickney’s car hit it from behind. Investigators say Brickney didn’t see Hawk’s car as he was blinded by the sun.
