(10/13/01)A tiny northeast Iowa town that’s on few maps is hoping to revitalize itself with a heritage festival this weekend. Clayton County naturalist Julie Brazell is helping organize the Osborn Heritage Days celebration.
Events are getting underway at the Osborn Conservation Center on Highway 13, about five miles south of Elkader.
Events include: a chili cookoff, a pumpkin carving contest, a buffalo chip toss, an arts and crafts auction and a pioneer church service.
