From North-Central Iowa, Franklin County banks have been held up twice in two months. The United Bank and Trust in Sheffield was held up yesterday by a white, middle-aged man, standing 5-foot-7 and weighing more than 150 pounds. He told tellers he was armed and demanded money, took the cash, walked out, then sped away in a small-to-midsized white car. Security camera footage indicates he looks much like the man who held up the U-B-and-T branch in Dows in late September.
