Drake faces Gateway team this week

The Drake football team will be on the road this week to take on Southwest Missouri State. It marks the third straight year the Bulldogs have played a team from the Gateway Conference and coach Rob Ash says they enjoy the challenge, as it lets them see how they stack up.Ash says to have a chance the Bulldogs will have to be sound in all phases.Drake is coming off a 41-39 victory at Butler and Ash says after some heartbreaking losses this season it was good to finally win a close one.
