Soon-to-be University of Iowa graduates might have a harder time finding jobs this fall.In the past few weeks, 14 companies that’re considered among the nation’s best, cancelled plans to make recruitment trips to Iowa City. U-of-I career services officials say the number of corporations looking to make employees of the students has dropped 28-percent this fall. Those that are NOT coming now include H-and-R Block, Sprint Finance and Microsoft. The U-of-I says most of the companies blame the slowing economy for their change in plans which excludes Iowa’s largest public university.
